Lee-Yung Shih, M.D.

Dr. Shih is the program director of Section of Hematology of CGMH and she leads the Taiwan Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Study Group and Myeloproliferative Neoplasms Working Group. She is a member of International Working Group for Prognosis in Myelodysplastic Syndromes (IWG-PM) Molecular Project and the representative of Taiwan for MPN of EHA-SWG. Her research interests include molecular pathogenesis of myeloid neoplasms, detection and monitoring of genetic abnormalities of hematologic malignancies. Dr. Shih has received several awards including Outstanding Clinical Cancer Research Award of the Chinese Oncology Society, Taiwan; the Outstanding Research Award of Chang Gung University; the Outstanding Research Award of the National Science Council, Taiwan. She has published more than 200 peer-reviewed articles including Nature, Nature Genetics, Blood, Leukemia, J of Clinical Oncology, Clinical Cancer Research, etc.
