Hongyan Tong, M.D., Ph.D.

Prof. Tong has over 30 years of experience in the field of malignant myeloid tumors, especially myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), with a focus on precise diagnosis and novel strategies for the prevention and treatment of MDS. Her laboratory has contributed to breakthrough therapies involving hypomethylating agents in MDS. She has published over 60 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals, including Journal of Clinical Investigation, Science Advances, and Leukemia.
