Stephen Oh, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Stephen Oh earned his AB in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University and his MD/PhD in Cancer Biology from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, followed by residency, fellowship, and postdoctoral training at Stanford University. Dr. Oh has extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of MPN patients, and have participated in numerous clinical trials investigating novel targeted therapies for MPN patients.

Dr. Oh is interested in the fundamental mechanisms that drive the initiation, development, and progression of hematologic malignancies. The Oh lab investigates the pathogenesis of myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) and secondary acute myeloid leukemia. A major focus of the laboratory is to utilize single cell mass cytometry to interrogate dysregulated cytokine-signaling networks in MPNs. They also utilize next-generation sequencing approaches to understand genetic complexity and clonal evolution in MPNs.
