Dong-Tsamn Lin, M.D.

Dr. Dong-Tsamn Lin graduated from the College of Medicine at National Taiwan University in 1974 and completed a three-year pediatric residency at National Taiwan University Hospital. After serving as chief resident, he joined the same institution as a visiting staff member and teaching faculty in pediatric hematology/oncology, and in 1979 assumed responsibility for the hospital blood bank.

In 1987, Dr. Lin undertook a one-year fellowship in immunohematology at the American Red Cross Detroit Blood Center in Michigan. Through his parallel involvement in hematology laboratory work, he also obtained board certification in clinical pathology.

Over a career spanning more than 35 years, Dr. Lin has been dedicated to the clinical care, teaching, and research of pediatric hematology and oncology. His primary research interests include leukemogenesis and blood filtration. He has authored nearly 300 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
