Chul-Won Jung, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Chul-Won Jung is a leading hematologist who served as President of the Korean Society of Hematology in 2025 and successfully hosted the International Conference of the Korean Society of Hematology, contributing significantly to global academic exchange in hematology.

He is a Professor at Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine and a senior physician at Samsung Medical Center, where he also serves as Director of the Healthcare Insurance Review Office. Dr. Jung received his M.D. and M.S. from Seoul National University and his Ph.D. from Chungbuk National University, and completed his internship at Seoul National University Hospital. He is actively involved in major academic societies, including the Korean Society of Hematology and the American Society of Hematology, and continues to advance clinical research and international collaboration in hematologic malignancies.
